Theme Thursday-Sky

I'm linking up with Cari again for Theme Thursday. This week's theme is sky and I was excited.





This cloudy looking sky is a blessing. Just this past weekend our Parish had 40 hours devotion for moisture. Ladt year summer was...rough. We hit triple digits in May and they continued pretty much non-stop until August. It sucked.

So when I looked over the house and saw this...






It was a happy moment.





Now if only these cloudy skies will result in some real moisture!

Happy Independence Day!!

Jeanine and I just got back from the Las Animas / Bent County Fireworks show!  It wasn't the best show the LA/BC FPD has put on, but it was a good show!  We had to wait for the torrential downpour to finish, but after the rain stopped, the show started.

Here is a link to some low-resolution copies of some of the pictures I took while there.  I haven't edited any of these yet, but will work on them some other time.
